Education and non-profit projects often allow more flexibility in design, along with the knowledge of being a more active participant in the community. The core message in many of these projects involves a basic human need, such as food, shelter or education, which everyone can relate to. However, getting people to act in support of those in need is another challenge entirely, and that is where clear communication in design is critical.
